About the Knot Foundation
The Knot Foundation is a private, philanthropic 501c3 organization focused on participating in mental health and community program development and partnerships. It was founded by Scott Freymuller, Executive Director. The Foundation’s efforts place an emphasis on raising awareness, and creating resources, and programs support the mental health of those that have experienced traumatic life events.
Unhealed trauma translates to behavior that plays out in relationships, friendships, parenting, and business which affects the lives of families and partnerships. The mission of the Knot Foundation is to help raise awareness through our content, and help people begin the healing process through self-awareness and stepping into their truth and improve their mental health and the impact on their relationships.
The Knot Foundation is closing gaps in our community. The flagship program of the Foundation is the “Purpose Program,” which was established to provide careers for retirees from Police, Fire, Military and Federal Agencies to help establish identity and maintain mental health while transitioning to the private sector. In addition, this program assists the homeless, those in rehabilitation, in prison and other circumstances where a second chance or a new start is needed. In addition, counseling, substance testing and other facilities will be offered to help with transition and ensure accountability and support.
The Knot Foundation continues to cultivate relationships that foster philanthropy through the empowerment of mental health.
